Allen Jones, a creator of saucy furniture.

Born in 1937 at Southampton, studied painting and lithography from 1955 to 1961 at Horsney College of Art in London, where the teaching method was based largely on Klee's "Pedagogical Sketchbook". During this period he travelled to Provence and to Paris, where he was highly impressed by the work of Delaunay. In 1959 he visited the Musie Fernand Liger in Biot.
