This time next year we'll be millionaires!

Perhaps is not there anything more Londoner that “ Only fool and horses ” is it? A bunch of superb characters, amongst them, Derek Edward Trotter “ Del Boy ” the fast-talking, quick thinking bussiness man, his “little” brother Rodney Trotter and their Grandad living in the southern suburbs of Peckam Rye , driving a three wheels van and trying to survive by cheating and bribing people on the streets markets. “Only fool and horses” is without doubt the best British T.V. comedy ever. See more here . It is characteristic of this series the use of cockney and slang language. Expressions like “ Lovely Jubbly ”, “ plonker ” and “ wally ” became commonly used after the show. Here there is a little video of –in my humble opinion- the best sketch ever performed by David Jason (Del boy) and Nicholas Lyndhurst (Rodney)… enjoy it… 100% worth to watch.

The excerpt above is from the introduction of a classic TV program. In 1979 Universal Studios released a motion picture named " Buck Rogers in the 25th Century ", also it was a series TV based on the original movie released by NBC for two seasons between 1979 and 1981. As usual all this junk came over the "Deep South" to enliven the existence of millions of children whose, eventually, were victimised during the horrible, wasted, hated, and moreover unforgettable 80's. Gill Gerard played as Captain William Buck Rogers and Erin Gray as Colonel Wilma Deering. A lovely home-made character was the star of this sci-fi series (alright! some people may think...
