It has been four years living in this house, somehow I have started feeling as though I am a piece of furniture; a chair, a lamp, a piece of crap that lies underneath the fridge and no hands have picked it up.
Actually I don't quite know what am I writing, I could start with a considerable and accurated list of people I have met in this house, just to make it worse. The list starts as Follows:
Tomasz (Pole)
Monica (Spaniard)
Brian (English)
Sasha (Danish)
Sven (German)
Magda (Spaniard) Run away without paying rent for five
months.
Felipe (Colombian)
Yoong Yin (South Korean)
Tarek (French)
Marian (Half Algerian half Lithuanian)
Aureli (French)
Magda (Pole)
Konrad(Pole)
Jurek (Pole)
Cesar (Colombian) -by the way, he was a pain in the arse, a real arsehole.
Oscar (Colombian)
Julissa (Colombian)
Sebastian (Colombian)
Giselle (Brazilian) -My room mate for few weeks in such a beautiful summer-
Rafal (Pole)
Mariusz (Pole)
Jimmy (Pole)
Martin (Pole)
Malvina (Pole)
Piotr (Pole)
Ruth (Ireland) Brian's "best" friend. (if you know what i mean).
That is the list that comes out right away from my mind. If I can recall some names in the future I will post'em in a separated sheet.
*** Now I remeber someone. Three Turkish peope who live there.
Toygun
Melis
Zeynep
Also I remember Laya was not a visitor but she lived there for about 4 months. Her boyfriend was a regular visitor Karim I think it was his name both from Spain.
Also 75th Tynemouth Road had some temporarely visitors, here I must say that the list cannot be pretty accurated as the memory betrays me. The list is as follows:
Laya (Spaniard)
Maya (Spaniard)
Laya's friend (Spaniard)
Tila (Norwege)
Cecilia (Norwege)
Camila (Norwege) -One of my current house-mates had one of the funniest stories I have ever witnessed.
Jenny (Colombia) I think she was here for a week or so.
Here I have got to finish the list as my brain is empty.
As we can see, despite we are in England, the only englishman inhere has been Brian who is not even Londoner but a great Lad from Bradford. -It was a pain trying to get used to his accent at the beggining-. Time to time the house was ruled by Polish Mafia, then Colombian Mafia; the Polish again and so and so but to be honest most of the people who I have mentioned here are pretty nice and I have learnt nice things from all of them.
I cannot publish this post without mentioning one of the most importan memebers of this respectable house, Bitchu the cat which always knocked on the door when we were having dinner.
I have seen many people whilst living here, and I have seen'em leaving the house, the last one was Mariusz the pole, a nice, interesting, intelligent and extremely lazy chap who went to India with Tomek and Monica, prior to Mariusz, Rafal left the house.
When Mariusz left I though I was a chair, a lamp, a piece of crap that lies underneath the fridge and no hands have picked it up, he said to me pointing out towards his stuff "look, two years of my life remain in that box".
I decided to leave, no remorse, no regret, Move on!!! "Pull the strings" said Martin Landau playing Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood.
Time to go. I'm packing up four years of my life, and leaving towards the so called boring South London.
Let's see what is gonna happen to me! God knows.
Kind Regards.
Volan.
